Lyrics
Don't Label Me
In a day when so many get offended
At whatever anyone speaks
And so many are afraid to say anything
Least someone calls the police
Don't label them this don't label them that
Don't use any label that's been used in the past
But do we really need to follow the PC crowd
Telling us what labels are no longer allowed
So whenever someone like that comes along
Who says don't put a label on me
As if they're some kind of unique person
Some kind of new species
I will give a bit of advice to them
And I’ll make my words clear cut
I'll say when you say don't label me
You just labeled yourself.... you dumb butt
We used to say Indians and Hillbillies
Senior citizen, Oriental and Minorities
Criminals, Terrorists and Immigrants
Now we can't even say have a merry Christmas
Now you can't label this or label that
You can't use any labels that's been used in the past
Do we really need to follow the PC crowd
Telling us what labels are no longer allowed
Well there's one thing that I will always defend
And that is that labels are really our friends
For every label comes with a description you see
Which lets me know who's standing in front of me
