There is a story about two brothers, the sons of Adam and Eve
Cain he was the first born, and Abel the second conceived
Cain he was a tiller of the ground, the vine, the trees
Abel he was a shepherd, caring for the sheep
One day the two came before God, each with a sacrifice
Both brought to Him an offering, but only one left justified

Are you putting your faith in the works of your own hands
Or like Abel, are you putting your faith, in a lamb
Are you trying to please God, with the works of your own hands
Or are you trying to please Him, by putting your faith, in the Lamb
