I’ve Come To Far
I’ve hit some roadblocks, along the way
Encountered bumps in the road, almost every day
Ran into some detours, here and there
Had obstacles pop up out of no where
I missed some exits, I did not see
Made some wrong turns when my flesh was leading me
I’ve landed in the ditch along the road, a couple times
But through it all, there’s one thing I kept in mind

Carried many kinds of heavy burdens
Reaped some things, I wish I had not sown
I’ve made my share, of bad mistakes
Had to push ahead through setbacks, along the way
And there were days, I felt like giving up
But through it all, one thing I’ve learned to say
There were thorns upon His brow, stripes upon His back
There were nails that pierced His feet, and nails that pierced His hands
When he was dying on that cross, he was forgiving all my sins
He never gave up on me and I am never giving up, on Him
